DESIGN OF TIR-SOL SYSTEMS
Different systems are proposed while respecting their primary function "security". The principle of the TIR-SOL systems is to trap the projectile on the ground and / or in the wall without causing a ricochet and injure the participants or the shooter himself thanks to the density of the rubber slabs 43 mm thick.
They make it easy to clean the site, eliminate powder and lead residues by simply sweeping or washing, to easily recover the ammunition cases thanks to the use of polyurethane resin.
Numerous firing booths realized for 17 years, for the police and the French armed forces by our partner VMS partner, proving even today the absolute necessity and the effectiveness of these systems of ground of security.
The basic concept is the very high density 43 mm thick rubber slab composition from a compacted mixture of rubber and resin granules to obtain a density of 800 kg to 1 ton to m3. These slabs of dimensions of 1 m x 0.50 m or 1 m x 1 m can be glued on concrete slab or asphalt, or simply put on the ground as most cases. For large shooting ranges (style B4, B6 or others) they can be simply put on a grave-cement. As a general rule it is better not to stick them to facilitate their replacement if necessary.
